To serve as a liaison to the residents of Grogan's Mill Village and The Woodlands Township and other governmental entities for the purpose of enhancing the quality of life of the residents of the Village of Grogan's Mill. Establish communication through proactive leadership.

Gerard C. (Neil) Gaynor
Neil Gaynor has lived in The Woodlands since 2000, and Grogan’s Mill since 2016. He immigrated from Ireland, via Australia, to our country in 1981, and is a naturalized U.S. citizen. Neil has a Ph.D. in Geoscience from the University of Texas-Dallas and has retired from a career in global oil and gas development. He is currently President of MUD 6 in Grogan’s Mill, serves on the GMVA Farmers Market Committee, and is the San Jacinto Regional Flood Planning Group Upper Watershed representative.
Pat Goodpastor
Pat has been a member of the Grogan’s Mill Village Association since 1996 . She has served as President and Secretary, and is currently a member of the Scholarship Committee and The Woodlands Farmers Market Committee. Pat, with board members Dana Denton and Bruce Cunningham, established The Woodlands Farmers Market in 2008. She continues to work to achieve the Farmer’s Market’s goals to provide residents with locally grown food and locally made items, to revitalize the Grogan’s Mill Village Center and to support the GMVA’s philanthropic pursuits, e.g. scholarships, school grants, etc.
Pat moved to the Woodlands in 1977 and raised her two children here.
She served on the Woodlands Community Association Board of Directors (pre-Township governing body) from 2000 to 2006.
Pat retired from Memorial Hermann The Woodlands Hospital, where she served as Chief Nursing Officer and Assistant Vice President of Patient Services for over 20 years.
Raquel Fatiuk
Raquel Fatiuk is from the Woodlands, Texas and has lived in Grogan’s Mill for the majority of her life. She attended the John Cooper School and went on to receive her B.M. from the University of Hartford and her M.M. from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Raquel has a breadth of experience in marketing and communications in the hospitality and nonprofit sectors. She has been working for the Houston Area Women’s Center for the past 5 years and is their Manager of Marketing and Communications. She is also a part owner of Augusta Pines, Glennloch Pines and Highland Pines golf courses and co-owner of a local general contracting company. She currently resides in Grogan’s Mill with her partner, son, daughter, sister and 4 dogs.

Mitzi Fredrick
Mitzi Fredrick joined the GMVA board in 2012. She enjoys working with the other board members to help improve Grogan's Mill Village. Mitzi is currently on the Scholarship Committee and leads the Sunshine and Adopt-a-Path Committees.
Mitzi and her family moved to Grogan's Mill in 1989 and truly love the village. Mitzi is a retired teacher and paralegal. She loves to spend time with her three wonderful granddaughters. Mitzi is a member of the Woodlands League of Women Voters and has volunteered during several local campaigns. The Fredricks are also known for their holiday decorations that they put up on Starviolet Street each year.
Emily Hoppel
Emily Hoppel has lived in Grogan's Mill since 2013, and in the greater Houston area since 2000. In 2018 Emily was first elected to the GMVA Board and has served as Vice President, School Liaison, and Shopping Center Liaison, with intermittent help with the Farmer's Market committee. She resides with her husband, a firefighter, and their blended 3 children aged 14, 14, and 7. Emily is passionate about recycling and sustainability, as well as actively supporting public schools. Professionally, Emily is a Licensed Customs Broker working in Global Trade Compliance for a premier chemical company in The Woodlands. She is an alumnus of Michigan State University.
