June Yard of the Month Winner

Congratulations goes to Joyce and Arthur Bolinger of South Rain Forest Court in High Oaks for winning our June Yard of the Month and a $50 Randalls gift card.  Joyce and Arthur have resided in High Oaks for over 30 years. Their front yard is beautifully planted with large crepe myrtles, very hardy yellow chrysanthemums and coreopsis, cannas, daylilies, butterfly weed, amaryllis, and blue agapanthus surrounded by beautiful rock borders. The back yard is equally as pretty and anchored by a huge live oak tree that Joyce herself planted 22 years ago. Thanks for all of your hard work in your lovely yard.

July Yard of the Month Winner

Congratulations to Kevin and Paige Kelley of Slash Pine Place for winning the July 2018 Yard of the Month. The Kelleys enjoy living in one of the first homes built in The Woodlands because of the mature trees and landscaping. Paige, an avid gardener, enhanced the mature trees and landscaping by planting Marigolds, Lily of the Nile, Hosta, Jasmine, Camellias, blue Lily turf plants, Begonias, and Impatiens alongside the 40 year old Crepe Myrtles.  In addition to the iconic southern plants, she enjoys planting seasonal gardens and decorating for all of the holidays.  She can be caught spending her afternoons gardening, filling the bird and squirrel feeders, and then sitting back and watching the wildlife with Kevin and the rest of the family.  When asked what she loved about Grogan’s Mill, Paige said, “Living in Grogan’s Mill is such a blessing because we enjoy a slower pace lifestyle.”  Thank you Kevin and Paige for all your hard work planting, decorating and maintaining a beautiful yard.
