July Yard of the Month Winners
Austen and Mercedes Gunnels are third-generation Grogan's Mill residents and College Park High School alumni. When looking for their first home in 2022, they knew The Woodlands was where they wanted to buy.
"We are blessed to be surrounded by such a wonderful community of friends and family in Grogans Mill. As the birth of our first child nears, we are more happy than ever that we decided to move back to The Woodlands. To be selected as the yard of the month was an honor and quite the surprise!"
Grogan's Mill Shopping Center Update
Construction kicked off for the $16.5 million library and community center planned at the Grogan's Mill Village Center on July 15, according to a news release from Howard Hughes Holdings Inc. and Montgomery County Precinct 3 Commissioner James Noack.
Labor Day Activities
Woodlands Township invites residents to celebrate Labor Day weekend on Sunday, September 1, 2024, from 5 to 9 p.m. at Waterway Square, 31 Waterway Square Place. This free event offers live music by Rule 77 (Variety), children’s activities, strolling entertainment, pie-eating contests and fireworks (weather permitting).

Register for National Night Out
National Night Out is a great opportunity for citizens and law enforcement to partner up against crime! The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services invites you to gather on Sunday, October 6, from 3 to 6 p.m. to meet your neighbors and commit to helping law enforcement reduce crime in our community!
Each year, The Woodlands Township Neighborhood Services encourages residents to spend the afternoon outside with neighbors, because neighbor knowing neighbor is one of the most effective ways to prevent crime.
Local law enforcement and The Woodlands Fire Department will briefly visit with residents of many of the neighborhoods that register their parties with the Township.
Register your neighborhood for a National Night Out Party today!
Register with the Township by Friday, September 6 for a chance to win a free pizza and other prizes for your party.

The Woodlands Farmers Market
Shopping at The Woodlands Farmer's Market is a great way to support local businesses and your community. Proceeds from the market fund scholarships for local students, support local schools and support the local food bank.
The market is open every Saturday from 9am to noon. During July through September, the market keeps summer hours. Regular hours will return in October. Come on out and join your neighbors at the market! It is a great place to sample local products and find unique gifts for the special people in your life.
