April 2016

GMVA is pleased to announce winners for its April Yard of the Month (YOM). April's winners are Shashank and Medha Karve, who live on Angel Leaf Road in Grogan's Point.

Shashank is Executive Vice President of Cobalt International Energy. Medha is a volunteer Dossant with the Houston Museum of Fine Arts. They have lived in The Woodlands for 32 years, almost ten of which have been at their current residence. They have two married children. Son, Jai, and his wife live in Boston and daughter, Jusleen, and husband live nearby. They are currently proud grandparents of two.

Favorite flowers in their yard include begonias, gingers, knock out roses, and a crepe myrtle, all of which are low maintenance. They use drip irrigation to keep plants fresh and minimize water usage.
