Woodlands MUD Elections were Held May 7th
GMVA Directors Neil Gaynor and Aaron Hoffstadter were elected in MUD 6. Former GMVA Directors John Yoars (MUD 36) and Robert Leilich (MUD 1) were also reelected.
This year's elections included an unprecedented number of candidates; across the nine MUDs in Montgomery County, there were a total of twelve new members elected. Complete election results can be found here: Montgomery County Elections Results (mctx.org)

by the profits from The Woodlands Farmer's Market. The Woodlands Farmer's Market is open every Saturday at the Grogan’s Mill Village Center.
Parks and Rec Needs Assessment Survey
The Woodlands Township invites community members to participate in a Parks and Recreation Needs Assessment survey to gather community input for the Parks and Recreation Department. Survey questions include specifics related to sports fields, parks, pools, trails and amenities.
After you fill out the survey, please copy us on your recommendations for Grogan's Mill Village to jackson@gmva.org so that we may be aware of your concerns as well.
The public input survey is only available online until May 16, 2022, at www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/recreationsurveys.
Great Texas Birding, May 14th
The Woodlands Township will be competing in the Great Texas Birding Team. Join our Big Sit team on Saturday, May 14 at Lakeside Park. Stop by to visit, get tips on birding or help spot anytime between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
The Great Texas Birding Classic (GTBC) is an annual competition held across Texas to determine which team can identify and count the most birds during a specific window of time. This is the biggest birdwatching tournament in the state and this year The Woodlands Township has a registered team!
The Woodlands Township has registered a team of 20 to participate in the ‘Big Sit’ category. These team members will spend one day, Saturday, May 14 at Lakeside Park documenting as many birds as they can see and hear.
Residents are invited to join the team to help spot and identify birds. New to birding? Our team members will be your guide.
Bring a lawn chair and binoculars, if you have them, and come birding with The Woodlands Township. Stop by Lakeside Park between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. and stay as long as you like. All ages are welcome.

The Woodlands Farmer's Market
The Woodlands Farmer's Market is the perfect place to pick up fresh produce, fresh foods and a unique gift for a special person in your life.
Every Saturday there are food trucks, live music and over 70 vendors to choose from. It's a perfect family outing that can include shopping, breakfast OR lunch!
