Run for the GMVA OR RDRC
Elections for eight seats on the Grogan's Mill Village Association (GMVA) and five on the Residential Design Review Committee (RDRC) will take place on February 19. Filing for the elections must take place by January 19.
The GMVA operates The Woodlands Farmer's Market and will distribute more than $25,000 in grants, gifts, and scholarships in 2023. 15 committees contribute to the community by advising on parks and working with law enforcement. Time commitments vary from a few hours a year to a few a week. Joining the Village Association is a great way to learn about the Woodlands and get to know neighbors.

RDRC members serve in a volunteer capacity and represent the resident viewpoint essential to the evaluation and approval process. The RDRC meets once a month to review property owners' applications for modifications or additions to their properties.

Bond Planning Committee for CISD
Conroe ISD is requesting the participation of students, parents, business owners, community members, and employees for a Bond Planning Committee (BPC) in anticipation of a bond on the November 7, 2023 ballot. The District is experiencing unprecedented growth and seeks the guidance of all stakeholders in assessing the facility and operations needs to address the current capacity needs. Ice Rink Open Through January 16
The Woodlands Township invites residents and visitors alike to enjoy the Ice Rink at The Woodlands Town Center. The 21,000-square-foot permanent multipurpose facility features ice skating in the main room with lighting, a state-of-the-art sound system, tables for parties, and concessions.
The Ice Rink operates on a seasonal basis and the last day to enjoy is January 16.
Millbend Coffeehouse
Millbend Coffeehouse is a non-profit venue hosted by Northwoods Unitarian Universalist Church right in our village of Grogan's Mill. Open the 2nd Saturday of every month, with occasional extra concerts, we are dedicated to bringing the finest in national and local acoustic/folk songwriters and performers to our informal and intimate setting. We are a smoke free and family friendly environment. In our relaxed atmosphere you can meet the entertainers and obtain copies of the hard to find CDs of these fine performers.
The Woodlands Farmer's Market
Shopping at The Woodlands Farmer's Market is a great way to support local businesses and your community.
The market took two weeks off to let vendors and volunteers enjoy the holidays with family and friends. But it is back open every Saturday, so come on out and join your neighbors at the market!
And check out the businesses in the Grogan's Mill Shopping Center. The UPS Store can help you with all your shipping needs without standing in a long line.
The Woodlands Farmer's Market is open every Saturday from 9am to 1pm.
